Kirsten is a speaker and writer living in Boulder County, Colorado. She speaks at retreats, events, and workshops, and teaches at Colorado Christian University. Prior to moving to Colorado she served as the Teaching Artist at LifePoint Church in northern Nevada, infusing creativity into both the arts team and teaching team. She has worked on curriculum writing teams, written various devotional books, and taught college courses in literature, public speaking, New Testament Greek, and C. S. Lewis.
Kirsten’s undergraduate degree is from the University of California, Irvine, where she received a B.A. in Humanities, combining studies in English, Spanish, Classical Greek and Linguistics. She went on to earn a Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Teaching and Exposition from the International School of Theology, located at Arrowhead Springs, CA.
Kirsten shares a home with her husband of twenty-three years, two teenage children, multiple fish, two gerbils, and a hamster. When left to her own devices, you’re likely to find Kirsten curled up with a good book and a handful of Oreo cookies, cutting up magazines to create a collage, or writing poetry in the corner booth at the local Chick-fil-A.
